Well hello again! That is hello to anyone who might still be checking our blog. I have been the worst blogger ever, and I feel like I have missed so much. I still love checking my friends/family's blogs, but I have just been too lazy to update my own. This time my excuse is a pretty good one.
I'm sure those who still check this blog already know our good news, but for those of you who might not, we are expecting another little girl in our family! I am due on September 5th and I am finally in my second trimester! I have been pretty sick with this pregnancy, just like I was with Amanda (my excuse for not blogging... lame I know), but this time I have been able to have the miracle of Zofran to help me get through the day :)
I have two sister-in-laws that are expecting around August 22nd as well! (Billy's sister Katie, and my brother Charles' wife, Lex) So far, we know that Katie is expecting a girl too, and we find out what the other baby will be on April 1st! It will be fun to have cousins so close to our new little one.
Amanda is growing up so fast! She is talking like crazy now, and always keeps us laughing! She is such a joy! Lately she has been talking a lot about the baby in momma's tummy. She often follows these comments by talking about how the "slide is fun," referring to the slide that is in the play area at my Dr.'s office that she LOVES. She has also started calling me, "Big Momma" which makes me wonder what she will say when I am at the end of this pregnancy since I get HUGE! She has been so good while I have felt sick, so I feel very lucky.
In other good news, my sister, little Katie Bird, is getting married! We are so excited for her! We love her fiance Erik, and we are excited for him to join our family. The happy day will be August 6th, which, although great for them, means I will be 8 months pregnant at her wedding! Woo Hoo! If anyone knows where to find an affordable, cute, brown, maternity dress, let me know :)
Well, I know I've said it before, but I really do want to do better about updating this blog. Now that I am getting over my sickness, I have no more excuses.
